You may think procrastination is a problem, but alas it isn't. It’s your subconscious telling you something to delay the task. Maybe the task is difficult, different or just unnecessary. When you feel the urge to procrastinate, embrace it. Notice the feeling. Understand why it's happening. Then change your actions based on what you learn.


Why?

Having the urge to procrastinate and embracing it will help you uncover new understandings about yourself. This could lead to new ways of doing things, more thought to decisions, other tasks being completed and you being more kind to yourself.

  • You catch yourself going into procrastination mode

  • You preempt situations where you’ll procrastinate

  • You feel better about procrastination and how to manage it
