Run Great Workshops

What is it?

Workshops are an engaging and productive way to solve problems together through a series of activities. It’s a top skill to have and one to keep honing with practice.

How to use it:

  1. Define your goal and outcomes (what do you want to achieve)

  2. Create the agenda (select and structure activities)

  3. Assign a facilitator

  4. Book a space or use a digital whiteboard

  5. Invite people (send them the goal, outcomes and agenda)

  6. Prepare (create materials, get pens and sticky notes)

  7. Record what you did (take photos) and follow up accordingly

Pro Tip:

Focus on the structure. Spend time considering what methods, tools and techniques should be used to make sure that the goal and outcomes are achieved in the allocated time.
